Re: Outboard well
Hi,
I am also suffering from the bracket at the back and I had 4hp Yamaha ( 5 knots) that cannot be tilt up, the prop was in the water while sailing ( cannot give up from my even 1/4 knots as I am going after/with 40 ft boats )... I am replacing her with 5hp Mercury Sailpower; it is charging (in max throttle), tiller arm is longer, tilts up, propellor is high pitch and one of the main reasons is the shifter arm is in the front... Mercury, Mariner, Tohatsu all the same engine made in Japan by Tohatsu; she will arrive next week.
I am really sick about the look of the outboard hanging at the back, I will check pod time electric motor to laminate on the rudder
Thks,
