What is the thickness of an IF boat transom? I am making the backing plate for an outboard bracket and need to calculate the total thickness.

There is no drawing available showing information of thickness. But you may suppose about 6 - 8 millimetres as for other not reinforced parts of hull and deck.

If you, for some reason, want to have a more exact local measurement, start to drill the holes for mounting the bracket and measure de thickness by inserting a measure device.
